Artist's Comments

Theme: 1920s
Inspiration: Clara Bow ( [link] )
Colors scheme: Dark grey, off-white, sepia tones.
Make-up: Dark slanted brows, dark dark cupids-bow lips.

(Left to right)
First look-
Materials: Silk, satin shoes.
Notes: Shoes would be the same style as those on the other dress. The diamond-shape on the neck and lower back are woven from the straps.

Second look-
Materials: Cotton top, melange wool skirt, wool beret, canvas boots with faux pearl buttons.
Notes: The shirt has three pleats in the front, one oversized and the two smaller bordering it. Cuff falls just above wrist.

Third look-
Materials: Damask-patterned wool, tweed skirt, canvas shoes with faux pearl buttons.
Notes: See draping detail.

Fourth look-
Materials: Cotton 'tuxedo' shirt, damask-patterned silk scarf, melange skirt, canvas shoes with faux pearl buttons.
Notes: I cinched up the waist on the shirt and changed the shoes.

Fifth look-
Materials: Silk, satin shoes with faux pearl buttons, multi-strand pearl choker.

Wow... very lovely! I think your theme/inspiration is very visible (I love the 20s) and the collection is simple yet has some nice little details (I love the top part of the first dress especially and the print on that one blouse is awesome), I do think you kept it very cohesive, keeping the pieces bonded by the little details and colors.. I totally love it! :) *is in awe*
Oh.. and I don't know but I somehow see a lot of silk in there..

I'm not really a fan of the fourth outfit from the left... It just seems a little awkward and out of place. The rest seem very cohesive to me... it seems a little shapeless... maybe change the shirt up a bit, its the same shape as the other two shirts, maybe give it a look a little more like the dresses to tie them together a bit more?
And the skirt needs SOMETHING...
